July 16: No Picture Day

Craig July 16, Pullin Up Stakes

Time to move. The town of Puyallup was exciting, not really fun, but memorable. So after getting lost, memorable haircuts and expensive booze, it was time to go to the towering mountain, shrouded in clouds, that beckoned us from our window every day.

We knew it would be a short drive to the mountain. The Puyallup Fair RV park check out time was 5:00pm so we wasted the morning putzing around in no big hurry. We went to Krispy Kreme for some donuts. The blueberry fritters were to die for. We stocked up on berries and veggies at the fruit stand nearby. The raspberries, red and black were incredible. When we finished it was about 1:00, so we finally got moving.

After about 2 hours of uneventful travel we pulled in, checked in, hooked up, made dinner and watched a movie. Pretty exciting stuff. Hey everyday can’t be something special, can it?

July 16 A Very Short Day

We didn’t do a lot of things today, but we traveled to a different campsite. We left our campsite and drove to the next one. The next one is called Mt. Havens RV Park. It is next to Mt. Reiner with a lot of trees. That means no tv, only movies. After we hooked up dad and I went to check in. After we checked in we walked back to the rv and Leah and mom were watching spider-man. After that we watched spider-man 2 and went to sleep.

It was a travel day today. We got to our campsite and set up. Mom put in Spiderman. There were deer out side so we paused the movie and went out to watch them. When Spiderman got over we put in Spiderman 2. After Spiderman 2 was over we turned off the DVD player. Matt and I made up our beds. Then we went to bed. So as you can see today was a very short day and we did nothing worth writing a whole page about.
